Quaem (AJ) Medical Center is located approximately northwest of the holy shrine of Hazrat Reza (AS) and is located in an area called Ahmadabad, formerly Mashhad. Its geographical boundaries lead to Ahmadabad Street from the north, Kuhsangi Street from the south, Shahid Beheshti Conservatory from the east and Parstar Street from the west.

The area of this hospital was initially 20,000 square meters. Its construction operation started in 1339 and in 1346, 7000 square meters of the building was prepared for setting up hospital clinics. Then in 1350, different wards of the hospital in 6 floors (4 upper floors and 2 lower floors) were put into operation.
